The Case 530 is one of the utility tractors Case offered while it was running farm tractors and construction equipment as two halves of one business. The sources used for this page describe the company and its ranges rather than the 530 in detail.

History of the Case 530
Two businesses in one company
Through the 1950s and 1960s Case sold farm tractors and construction machinery from the same organisation. The construction side grew quickly: in 1957 the company made the 320 Construction King, the first factory-integrated backhoe loader, and it was that side of the business that became the larger one.

The utility tractor
Utility tractors were the middle of the farm range, larger than a smallholding machine and cheaper than the big field tractors, bought for loader work, hauling and general farm jobs. The 530 belongs there. The sources used here do not give its engine, weight or production years, and this page does not supply them.
Design and features
- Utility class: a middle-sized farm tractor rather than a big field machine.
- Company context: built in the years when Case’s construction line was overtaking its farm business.
- Construction King era: the same period produced Case’s first integrated backhoe loader.
- Open specification: the sources give no figures for the model, which the page does not fill in.
Case 530 versions
- Case 530: the utility tractor described here.
- Other Case utility tractors: the rest of the middle range.
- Case 320 Construction King (1957): the company’s first factory-built backhoe loader.
The construction machines of the same years are on the Case 580 and Case 450 pages, and the older tractors on the Case VAC page. Everything is collected in the Case section.
