The Irisbus Evadys was the grand touring coach of the Irisbus range between 2005 and 2013, in the last years of the Irisbus name. When the division was renamed Iveco Bus in 2013 the coach disappeared from the catalogue, and the Evadys name returned in 2016 on a new Iveco Bus model that is still in production.

History of the Irisbus Evadys
A coach at the top of the range
The Evadys was the model Irisbus offered in the grand touring class, the segment above its city buses such as the CityClass and Citelis, its intercity buses such as the Crossway and its trolleybuses such as the Cristalis. The coach was produced from 2005 until 2013, the year in which the Irisbus name was retired and the bus division of Iveco was rebranded as Iveco Bus.
Iveco Bus and the return of the name
After the reorganisation the range was reduced to a small number of families: a minibus based on the Daily, the Urbanway city bus, the Crossway for intercity work and the Magelys for touring. A new Evadys joined that list in 2016, three years after the Irisbus name had gone, and it remains the touring coach of the Iveco Bus range. The company that builds it is based in Turin, develops its buses in Italy and Switzerland and uses engines developed by Fiat Powertrain Technologies.

Irisbus Evadys versions
- Irisbus Evadys (2005–2013): the original touring coach.
- Iveco Bus Evadys (from 2016): the model that brought the name back.
The touring coach of the later range is the Magelys, and the intercity work was done by the Irisbus Crossway. More buses are in the Irisbus collection.
