The Case IH JX is the utility range of the Case IH tractor line, and the film below shows a JX 80 working with an implement. The JX 80 and JX 95 are named in the old posts that now lead to this page.

History of the Case IH JX
Where the JX sits
Case IH sells tractors from small utility machines to the biggest four-wheel-drive models. The JX is in the utility part of that ladder, under the Maxxum and Puma ranges described elsewhere on this site, and is bought for loader work, hay and general farm haulage rather than for heavy tillage.
Production
The sources record that in 2006 most Case IH tractor production at Basildon in England moved to the Steyr factory at St Valentin in Austria, which is where the European Case IH tractors have largely come from since. They do not give the JX’s own dates, engine or outputs.
The tractor in the film
The film shows a JX 80 working with a Famarol S400 implement, the kind of general farm job these tractors do. The sources do not describe the individual models, so no specification is given here.
Design and features
- Utility class: below the Maxxum and Puma ranges in size and price.
- Two models named: the JX 80 and JX 95 are the versions in the old posts.
- Implement work: the film shows a JX 80 with a mounted implement.
- European production: Case IH moved most tractor building to St Valentin in 2006.
Case IH JX versions
