History of the TVR T350
The T350 borrowed much from the entry-level Tamora: the interior, the multi-function display and the analogue instruments. Its smooth nose and sharply cut tail made it aerodynamically efficient and reduced drag, while the sloping rear line kept lift low at speed, and the fastback shape gave more boot space. The optional Sport package added lap times, oil temperature and water temperature to the multi-function display.

The engine was TVR’s own Speed Six, an alloy straight six of 3,605 cc with four valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication, producing 350 bhp at 7,200 rpm and 290 lb·ft at 5,500 rpm, a power-to-weight ratio of 304 bhp per ton. Suspension was independent double wishbones with coil-over gas dampers and anti-roll bars at both ends. Front brakes were 304 mm ventilated discs with four-piston alloy calipers, rear brakes 282 mm ventilated discs with single-piston sliding calipers, and the car ran on 18-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels. Steering was electro-hydraulically assisted rack and pinion. The car weighed 1,187 kg with 51.9 per cent of that over the front axle, and reached 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and 100 mph in 9.5 seconds. TVR quoted a 175 mph top speed, or 185 mph and more for some versions.
The T350 was sold as the T350c coupe and the T350t targa. Production figures are estimates because no factory records survive: about 390 T350s and about 70 T350Ts. The T350 later provided the base for the Sagaris, which added the vents and intakes needed for endurance racing.
