We have not used this service and have no first-hand experience of its work. This review is based on the pages the company publishes on its own website, read on 3 November 2026, and everything it says about itself is reported as its claim, not as something we checked.
PRO.CTO is a car service in Dubai that says it specialises in the Volkswagen Group: Audi, Bentley, Porsche, Lamborghini, Volkswagen, Skoda and SEAT. Its public pages cover repair, maintenance and diagnostics, with a price list for the diagnostic jobs. Here we look at what it offers when you want to know what is wrong with a car, or whether to buy one.

What it offers
The service menu is long: oil, filter, timing belt and spark plug changes, brakes, clutch, suspension, engine and transmission repair, air conditioning, auto electrics, chip tuning, key programming, camera and radar calibration, body work and car recovery. For this review we looked at the diagnostics part, which the company presents in a dedicated page for Full Car Diagnostics.
That page lists seven jobs with a price and a time: a full computer scan, a check-engine-light scan, ABS and brake diagnostics, electrical diagnostics and an air conditioning and climate check, each from 200 AED and one hour, and a transmission check and a pre-purchase vehicle inspection, each from 400 AED and two hours. It describes computer diagnostics as connecting the car to specialised equipment that reads faults from control systems and sensors, and adds a fuel-system analysis (pump and injectors) and a suspension and steering inspection. Elsewhere on the site, engine endoscopy and a compression test are listed under engine diagnostics.
The pre-purchase inspection
For anyone who reads a site about cars, the most interesting job is the pre-purchase inspection. Buying a premium used car in any country comes down to what the seller does not tell you, and a second pair of eyes with a scanner is the cheapest protection. A scan can show stored fault codes and the state of the electronic systems, but it cannot replace a look at the body, the paperwork and a test drive, which our guide to buying a classic covers for older cars. The company’s page does not say what is in the inspection report or whether you receive it in writing, so ask before you book.
What to keep in mind
- Numbers do not always agree. The FAQ says a basic diagnostics session takes about 30 to 60 minutes, while the price list gives one hour for most jobs and two for the transmission and pre-purchase checks. The home page speaks of seven branches, while the contact section lists two addresses.
- Prices are “from” prices. A scan is quoted from 200 AED; what a particular car costs will depend on what is found. Ask for the total before work starts.
- Claims about itself. The company states 8 or more years of experience, more than 100 certified specialists and about 1,000 satisfied customers. We could not verify any of these, and customer reviews are shown on the site without a link to an independent platform.
- Specialist focus. Its strength is the Volkswagen Group; owners of other makes should check that the workshop has the right tools for their car.
Who it suits
PRO.CTO is aimed at owners of Audi, Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini and Volkswagen-group cars in Dubai who want diagnostics and repair under one roof, and at buyers of such cars who want an inspection before paying. The site is available in Russian and Ukrainian as well as English, which will help some customers. For a car from another group, or outside the UAE, it is not relevant.
