The Iveco Eurotech was a heavy lorry produced by Iveco of Turin for long-distance transport. The range appeared in 1992 as the successor of the Turbotech of 1990 to 1992 and won the International Truck of the Year award in 1993, the second year in a row for Iveco after the success of the medium-weight Eurocargo. It was offered at first with six engines, three layouts, a wide choice of gearboxes and three cabs.

History of the Iveco Eurotech
The Eurotech range made its debut in 1992 and was well received both in Italy and more widely in Europe. It replaced the Turbotech, which had been on the market from 1990 to 1992, and brought Iveco the International Truck of the Year award in 1993, the second consecutive win for the company after the Eurocargo.

Three layouts were offered: a 4×2 rigid lorry coded 180E or 190E, a 6×2 rigid coded 240E with an original Iveco third axle, and a 4×2 tractor unit coded 440E. A 400E model also appears in the range lists. Buyers chose between an Iveco nine-speed synchromesh gearbox, Eaton-Fuller TS11612 and TS13612 units with 12 forward speeds and three reverse gears but no synchromesh, and ZF 16S151 and 16S221 gearboxes with 16 forward speeds and two reverse. From 1996 the automated ZF Eurotronic was available, but only on the 375 hp models.
There were three cabs, a short one with a low roof, a deep one with a low roof and a deep one with a raised roof. Any cab could be combined with light or heavy wheelarches: the light ones were standard on the 230, 270 and 300 hp models and the heavy ones on all the others. For harder work, in quarries or on unmade ground, a raised bumper with the lights of the EuroTrakker could be ordered.
The range ran from the 180E24 to the 440E42, in steps that rose through the power ratings, and later Cursor-engined versions were added as the 240E35, 240E39 and 240E43 and the 440E35, 440E38 and 440E42.
