History of the Fendt 200 Vario
Launch in 2009

Fendt introduced the 200 Vario in 2009 as a series of small tractors below the 300 and 700 Vario. From the start it used 3.3-litre three-cylinder common-rail diesel engines supplied by AGCO, which at the sales launch produced between 51 kW (70 hp) and 81 kW (110 hp) from the same displacement. The series was offered in a normal-track form and as a narrow-track variant between 1.07 m and 1.68 m wide, the V/F/P models, for vineyards, orchards and similar crops.
Gen2 in 2017
The first revision came in 2017, when Fendt called the updated series Gen2. Power of the same 3.3-litre engine rose to between 57 kW (77 hp) and 82 kW (111 hp), and the visual design was brought into line with the larger Fendt tractors.
Gen3 in 2020
The third generation followed in 2020. Its main change was the digital FendtONE operating system, which can be used with up to three screens, or terminals, and a joystick. In its current form the range has five engine ratings, all quoted by the manufacturer as peak figures, and it keeps both the standard and the narrow-track body. The series remains the smallest of Fendt’s Vario tractor lines, below the 300, 500 and 700 Vario.
