History of the Suzuki Access 125
Launch and Swish
The Access 125 arrived on 18 September 2007 as Suzuki’s volume scooter for India. From 2012 to 2016 the company also built a closely related model called the Swish 125, which was dropped in 2016 while the Access carried on.

Special editions
On 3 October 2013 Suzuki launched a Being Human edition with Salman Khan’s foundation. It came only in Pear Mirage White with an ‘Apna Way of life’ logo, a beige leather seat cover, chrome grab rail and mirrors, and cost more than the standard scooter. A second special edition followed in 2018 with round chrome mirrors, leather seats, black alloy wheels, a front disc brake with combined braking and a mobile charging socket, sold in white, silver, matte black and matte red.
The modern range
Three variants are offered in India: a drum-brake version with CBS, a disc-brake version with silver alloy wheels, and the special edition with black wheels and a disc. All Access 125s built after 2016 use Suzuki SEP engines and a part-digital instrument panel, while Ride Connect versions add a fully digital cluster with Bluetooth, navigation and LED lighting. As of 2026 the scooter is sold in Europe as the Address 125.
