The Nissan 200SX, originally the Datsun 200SX, was a nameplate used on export versions of Nissan cars between 1975 and 2002. It did not describe a single model: most cars that carried it were Silvias, and for a few years it was also used on the Lucino coupe.

History of the Nissan 200SX
Silvia-based 200SX
Between 1975 and 2002 Nissan retailed the Silvia as the 200SX in many export markets. Six generations were made in both coupé and hatchback body styles, with new models released in 1979, 1984, 1989, 1993 and 1999. Depending on the importer, the same cars also received different nameplates.

Lucino-based 200SX
Between 1995 and 1998 Nissan retailed the Lucino coupe as the 200SX in the United States and Canada. That car was a different, smaller coupé, so a 200SX of those years has little in common with the Silvia-based cars that came before and after.
Design and features
- Export badge: the Japanese market knew these cars as the Silvia, not the 200SX.
- Six generations: the badge covered cars from 1975 to 2002.
- Two bodies: coupé and hatchback were offered through the Silvia-based generations.
Nissan 200SX versions
- Datsun 200SX (1975–early 1980s): the earliest export cars, badged as Datsuns.
- Silvia-based 200SX (to 2002): six generations, including the S13 and S14 coupés.
- Lucino-based 200SX (1995–1998): a smaller coupé for the United States and Canada.
The Silvia-based cars are described in more detail under the Silvia, and the S13 generation also appears as the 180SX. More cars are in the Nissan collection.
