History of the Kymco Sento

One engine, one purpose

The Sento was introduced in 2008 and produced in a single engine version: a 50 cc four-stroke with forced-air cooling. It had both electric and kick starting and a top speed of 45 km/h, the limit for mopeds in Europe. It was offered in two colours, anthracite and light blue.

Later Sento models

The Sento name was later used on the New Sento, a 110 cc version of the same small-scooter idea that appears in Kymco’s model lists alongside the original 50 and a Sento 100.

Design and features

  • Simple 50 cc four-stroke: the only engine offered in the original Sento.
  • Two ways to start: electric starter plus kick starter.
  • Moped legal limit: 45 km/h.
  • Two colours: anthracite and light blue.

Kymco Sento versions

  • Sento 50: the original 2008 moped.
  • Sento 100: larger-capacity version listed in the range.
  • New Sento: a 110 cc development of the model.

The Sento was one of Kymco’s smallest scooters, below the Agility and Like. More models are in the Kymco collection.
