History of the Fiat Talento
A shorter Ducato

The Talento name first appeared in 1981 on a short-wheelbase version of the Fiat Ducato. That van remained on the market until 1993, after which the name disappeared from the range for more than two decades.
A rebadged Trafic
The second generation arrived in 2016 as a rebadged variant of the Renault Trafic, sold from July 2016 to September 2020. It was the product of the commercial vehicle cooperation between Fiat and Renault that also covered other vans of the period.
The end of the name
Around September 2020 Fiat discontinued the Talento. It was succeeded by the Fiat Scudo in 2022, in the period of the merger that created Stellantis.
