History of the Lola T190
The T190 was one of Lola’s open-wheel designs, built for Formula 5000 and introduced in 1969. It was designed, developed and built in-house by Lola Cars, the British constructor that supplied customer racing cars across formulae and sports car classes.
The model was produced in a run of 17 cars. As with most Formula 5000 machinery of the period, the T190 was a customer car, sold to teams and drivers rather than run by a works outfit.
