The Fittipaldi EF7 was a Brazilian mid-engine sports car from Fittipaldi Motors, designed in collaboration with Pininfarina and HWA. It was first released as a Vision Gran Turismo concept for the Gran Turismo Sport racing game. Founder Emerson Fittipaldi announced a production track-only EF7 GTR by spring 2018, but the plan did not materialise and the company became inactive in March 2019.

History of the Fittipaldi EF7
From game to track car

The EF7 was the first Fittipaldi-badged car since the Fittipaldi F8 Formula One car of 1982, and was created for the Vision Gran Turismo programme. It was designed by Fabio Filippini under Paolo Pininfarina; according to Emerson Fittipaldi the shape loosely represents a shark and the design took six months. Only 39 track-only cars were planned, the number matching the 39 Formula One and IndyCar victories of Fittipaldi, and every customer was to get personal coaching from him. The goal was high power, low weight and high downforce.
Specification
The car had a 4.8-litre naturally aspirated dry-sump V8 expected to give 600 hp or more, with 320 lb·ft of torque, a 9,000 rpm redline and a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox, for under three seconds from 0 to 60 mph. The weight was said to be 1,000 kg with a 52/48 front-to-rear distribution, thanks to a carbon-fibre monocoque and body panels, and HWA was to build part of the car, including the suspension. The production EF7 GTR, announced for spring 2018, did not materialise.
