History of the Alpina B8
In the 1990s Alpina fitted a re-designed and enlarged 4.6-litre V8 to the E36 Alpina B8 4.6 and to the E34 B10 4.6, which replaced the B10 Bi-Turbo from March 1994. With 250 kW (340 PS) the V8 was only just below the output of the B10 Bi-Turbo.

The Alpina B8 Gran Coupé was available in 2021 and is based on the BMW M850i and M8 Gran Coupé. It is powered by an Alpina-tuned version of BMW’s N63 4.4-litre bi-turbo V8, producing 630 PS and 800 N·m, with Alpina-tuned suspension and handling and Comfort+ and Sport+ modes.
