History of the Renault Vivasix
Two models under one name
In 1927 Renault created two new models, a luxury and expensive one called Type RA and a second, simpler model called Type PG, and the two together were known as the Vivasix. The Vivasix was one of the larger cars Renault produced in that period, with a top speed of 130 km/h.
Types
The range carried the PG1 designation from 1926 to 1929 and PG3 for 1930 only. The Type RA and Type PG were replaced by a new luxury car, the Renault Vivastella, between 1928 and 1929.
Abroad
In 1931 Renault Motors reported that the latest models of the Renault Vivasix were selling well in Shanghai.
