A photo from the Classic Cars collection, filed under the title “Maroon 1966 Chevelle under an arched portico”.
The title points to Chevrolet, so you can compare it with other pages in our Chevrolet archive. The title gives the year 1966.
What counts as a classic depends on where you live: in the UK cars built over 40 years ago are exempt from annual road tax, and in Germany vehicles registered 30 or more years ago can qualify for an Oldtimer plate. Thinking of buying one? Our guide Buying a classic: what to check first puts the checks in order: paperwork, rust, originality.
