History of the Newmar Mountain Aire

Newmar builds motorhomes, the self-propelled recreational vehicles that combine living accommodation with a driving cab. The company is American, and it is now part of Winnebago Industries, Inc., one of the best-known groups in the North American leisure vehicle industry.

The Mountain Aire is one of the model lines sold under the Newmar name. Coaches of this line have been photographed on the road and at shows; the example in the picture is described as a Mountain Aire 400 HP motor home, and a 2015 coach of the same line appears in the video below.

Design and features

  • Newmar pedigree: the Mountain Aire carries the name of a long-established American motorhome maker.
  • Part of Winnebago Industries: Newmar operates today as a subsidiary of the group.
  • Full-size coach: a motorhome of the kind that combines transport with living space.

Newmar Mountain Aire versions

  • Mountain Aire: the line as sold under the Newmar name.
  • 2015 coach: the example shown in the video below.

The other Newmar line on this site is the Kountry Star. More American motorhomes are gathered in the Newmar collection.
