History of the Honda Click
Answering the Yamaha Mio

The first Click/Vario 110 was released in 2006, introduced to counter the popular Yamaha Mio. It used a 108 cc water-cooled single with a carburettor; in Vietnam the model had a different tail with a big single headlight.
Fuel injection
In July 2008 a new version was released in Thailand with updated styling and PGM-FI fuel injection, marketed as the Click-i. In September 2009 it was launched in Indonesia as the Vario Techno, an upmarket version of the standard Vario 110 but with the older carburettor engine. In 2012 the Click-i and Techno were discontinued and replaced by the Click 125i, while the standard model stayed on sale in Indonesia until 2014.
Vario 110 and eSP
In March 2014 the second-generation Vario 110 arrived as the Vario Fi, available only in Indonesia and with no Click version. It used an all-new 108 cc PGM-FI air-cooled single shared with the smaller Honda BeAT. An updated version with eSP enhanced Smart Power technology followed in September 2015 and stayed on sale until 2019, when the smaller BeAT took over the 110 cc class.
