History of the Great Wall Voleex C30
A quick success at home

The Voleex C30 went into production in 2010 and was built only as a four-door saloon. In China it came with a 1.5 litre petrol engine producing 77 kW (105 PS) and 138 Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox or a CVT. Great Wall announced that 100,000 units had been produced by March 2011, only ten months after production started, and the car was named the 2010 CCTV Compact Passenger Car of the Year in China.
Europe through Bulgaria
From 2013 the Voleex C30 was sold by the Bulgarian company Litex Motors. The Bulgarian version came in two trim levels, One and Star, both with a manual gearbox and the 1.5 litre engine, tuned to 71 kW (97 PS). In that form the car could reach 183 km/h and accelerate from rest to 100 km/h in 11.3 seconds. Other export markets included Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Ukraine and South Africa.
Safety and certification
The C30 scored five stars in a crash test performed by China-NCAP in February 2011, and in December 2011 the model received certification for marketing within the European Union. An electric version was offered for the 2017 model year, after the petrol car had been in production for most of the decade.
