The Govecs GO! is the scooter line of GOVECS, a German manufacturer of electric two-wheelers based in Munich. The company built its vehicles in its own factory in Wrocław, Poland, and sold the GO! both to private riders and, in a transport version, to delivery services and scooter-sharing fleets.

History of the Govecs GO!
GOVECS was founded in 2009 in Munich by Thomas Grübel, Nicholas Holdcraft and Gerald Vollnhals. From 2010 the company had a cooperation agreement with Bosch, which offered vehicle service to GOVECS customers, and that service network mattered as much as the scooters themselves for buyers who ran small fleets. Production was set up in Wrocław, Poland, where the plant opened in 2013; all GOVECS vehicles were built there, whatever the market they were sold in.

The GO! was the name under which the transport version was sold: the same scooter offered to delivery services and rental operators, alongside the machines sold to private riders. The range used a letter and a number: S for the scooter versions, T for the transport version, with figures from 1.2 and 1.4 up to 2.4. The range was split by top speed: 25 km/h versions and 45 km/h versions, the latter winning the awards in their own category.
The line collected awards almost from the start. In 2011 the GO! S2.4 took the European Scooter of the Year title in the 45 km/h category, and GOVECS received the Bavarian state eCarTec Award for electric and hybrid mobility. In 2012 the GO! S2.4 won again in the 25 km/h category, the GO! T2.4 won the 45 km/h category, and the GO! S1.4 took the eCarTec Award in the “Electric vehicle: Motorcycle” class. In 2013 the European Scooter of the Year title went to the GO! S1.4 in the 25 km/h category.
Fleet business drove the company. In 2012 the Spanish rental firm Cooltra bought 500 scooters, and Barcelona became the first European city with a large-scale electric scooter rental service. From June 2015 GOVECS supplied 150 scooters to Scoot Network in San Francisco, and the French operator Cityscoot equipped its entire fleet with GOVECS machines; in 2019 business with such customers made up about 90 per cent of the company’s turnover. In July 2015 GOVECS also bought the manufacturing equipment of the electric scooter pioneer Vectrix, which had gone insolvent in Wrocław, raising output capacity to 20,000 scooters a year.
The GO! was marketed in the United States and 17 European countries, with Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and the Benelux countries as the core markets. Sales of the whole range peaked at 4,797 scooters in 2019 and fell to 1,443 in 2021, while turnover dropped from 29.3 million euros in 2018 to about 4 million euros in 2021. GOVECS filed for insolvency on 24 November 2025, and operations, service and warranty support for its vehicles ended late that year.
