Mercedes Benz SLC, a smaller version of SLS AMG is slated to go into production in 2014. Mercedes SLC is expected to be powered by a 4.0 liter V8 engine generating 500 bhp, while a smaller V6 engine with 350 bhp may be offered as well. To be priced at $130,000 and above, Mercedes Benz SLC will compete with Porsche 911 and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage once it is seen in the markets in the next two years.
